The article compares arbitrations conducted under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, London Court of Arbitration, International Chamber of Commerce, and UNCITRAL from inception to the enforcement of the award. The rules, procedures, and legal principals are examined and comparative conclusions are reached in terms of the primary goals of international commercial arbitration: speed, judicial support, neutrality, costs, and scrutiny of the award.
